 PRAYER LIFE AT QUINTON PARK

Many people find comfort within prayer.

We encourage our congregation to pray regularly for the people and life of Quinton Park and the local community.

QP Prayer Points – Looking for the gift - March 2025

“Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our
salvation.“ Psalm 95:1-2

ï‚· Praise God for the privilege of being able to join together with brothers and
sisters to bring our Father the worship he deserves.

“ So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors
and teachers,  12  to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of
Christ may be built up.”
 Ephesians 4:11/12

ï‚· Praise the Lord who has given each of us different gifts to use in his service
ï‚· Pray for courage to step into our giftings, so that we can build one another up
as a church

ï‚· Pray for wisdom and discernment as members pray about who to approach
about leadership positions, and for those putting their names forward for
leadership
ï‚· For unity in our fellowship, and with other local Christians
ï‚· Pray for a growing heart for children and young people’s work

“I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and
remembers your sins no more.”
Is 43:25
ï‚· As we move towards Easter, let’s rejoice at what God did during Holy Week
ï‚· Pray as we reach out into our community - that those we come into contact
with would discover Easter hope
ï‚· Pray for those considering Baptism at Easter

Ways to Pray:

On your own

We know it isn’t always possible to join together, but when we can’t be together ‘in body’, we can still be praying together ‘in spirit’. Please use the prayer points above, and the prayer times below to pray with us.

Prayer partners/triplets

Is there someone you could meet with or pray on the phone with? Prayer walks – on your own, or with others. Pray for God’s blessing on the area and that he would show us how we can serve him here..

Opportunities to pray together:

· Sundays 10am in church

· Praise and prayer NOW 1st & 3rd Monday of the month at 7pm

We invite a greater awareness of the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit. -

We encourage one another, and our faith rises. -

We learn to let go of seeking our own purposes and start to open ourselves up to what God wants

Whatever/however/whenever you pray, please share with the diaconate any thoughts/insights/pictures/words of encouragement. There is a book available at the front of church to gather any thoughts, pictures, or visions (please ask if you can’t find it). In praying together, we invite a greater awareness of the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit. We encourage one another, and our faith rises. We learn to let go of seeking our own purposes and start to open ourselves up to what God wants.
