 PRAYER LIFE AT QUINTON PARK

Many people find comfort within prayer.

We encourage our congregation to pray regularly for the people and life of Quinton Park and the local community.

QP Prayer Points – ‘Our identity in Christ’ - January 2025

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever
believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” John 3:16

ï‚· At the start of a new year, how can we not give thanks and endless praise for such a gift?

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.”    Psalm 139:13-14

“he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with
his pleasure and will”     Eph 1:5

ï‚· Thank God for our identity in Christ- we are sons and daughters of the living God; intimately known, deeply adored, and lovingly being transformed into his likeness.
ï‚· Thank God for our children and young people, and those we are getting to knowvia QP Adventurers. Pray that they would find their value in God’s amazing love for them

“The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all the
parts are many, they form one body. So, it is with Christ…………and we were
all given the one spirit to drink.”      1Cor 12: 12

ï‚· Pray that we enter the new year with a Spirit of love and humility. May the Lord
show us as a church and as individuals where we have/are going wrong, so we
can confess and be made right in his eyes.

ï‚· Pray for unity within our fellowship.

ï‚· Pray for Danny and Kate – for rest and refreshing; and for our leadership team
ï‚· For those considering baptism and membership

ï‚· For all of us – that the Lord will meet each one of us at our point of need; and
lead us all to a deeper relationship with him.

We invite a greater awareness of the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit. -

We encourage one another, and our faith rises. -

We learn to let go of seeking our own purposes and start to open ourselves up to what God wants

Whatever/however/whenever you pray, please share with the diaconate any thoughts/insights/pictures/words of encouragement. There is a book available at the front of church to gather any thoughts, pictures, or visions (please ask if you can’t find it). In praying together, we invite a greater awareness of the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit. We encourage one another, and our faith rises. We learn to let go of seeking our own purposes and start to open ourselves up to what God wants.
