Prayer points November 2024
God's Kingdom Culture
Building His Kingdom Culture at QP
“being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on
to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Phil 1:6
Thanksgiving for the new and ongoing initiatives we have undertaken in past
months. God is good!
“From him the whole body, joined and held together by every
supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part
does its work.” Eph 4:16
Prayer points:
- 'from Him'- that all our efforts would be centred on Jesus, as our source
- 'whole body....held together' - that God would help us to work
collaboratively in simplicity to advance his kingdom
- 'grows and builds itself up'- that as people start to discover and move
more in their giftings, their faith would be strengthened, and we would see
growth
- 'in love'- that love for God and others would remain our very highest priority
- 'each part does its work' - that we would value the variety of gifts
demonstrated at QP, just as God does
“He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” Ps 91:4
Prayers for protection – for sensitivity to recognise any risks, and confidence
in Jesus’ strength in us to beat them
Ways to Pray:
On your own
We know it isn’t always possible to join together, but when we can’t be together ‘in body’, we can still be praying together ‘in spirit’. Please use the prayer points above, and the prayer times below to pray with us.
Prayer partners/triplets
Is there someone you could meet with or pray on the phone with? Prayer walks – on your own, or with others. Pray for God’s blessing on the area and that he would show us how we can serve him here..
Opportunities to pray together:
· Sundays 10am in church
· Praise and prayer NOW 1st & 3rd Monday of the month
We invite a greater awareness of the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit. -
We encourage one another, and our faith rises. -
We learn to let go of seeking our own purposes and start to open ourselves up to what God wants

Whatever/however/whenever you pray, please share with the diaconate any thoughts/insights/pictures/words of encouragement. There is a book available at the front of church to gather any thoughts, pictures, or visions (please ask if you can’t find it). In praying together, we invite a greater awareness of the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit. We encourage one another, and our faith rises. We learn to let go of seeking our own purposes and start to open ourselves up to what God wants.
